2025 Fall Baseball Information/Rules

*As of 8/23/25. Teams are practicing. Coaches will reach out if not already.

 

Season start = Junior - TBD; Senior - Wednesday, 9/3

Length = Junior - TBD; Senior - 5 weeks (9/3 to 10/1)

No game reporting, developmental and instructional playing

Current League Age 12 year old 

  • Next year's (2026 season) league age 13 year old:

    • Can choose to move up to Senior Division or stay down in Major Division. 

    • We recommend your 12 year old move up because they will be playing on the larger field next year. This will get them ahead of others and will know what to work on over the winter break.

    • The Fall Senior Division will have a majority of other young players (12-13 years old), so please keep that in mind and move your 12 year old up. The younger players can also learn from the older players, which is a great opportunity.

    • You must make coaches aware or contact us to let us know if your intention is to keep your 12 year old down in the Major Division. If we do not get notified of your intention, then we assume your 12 year old will move up to the Senior Division.


Junior

  • 9-11 years old (with any 12 year old electing to stay down)

  • Major Division Rules

  • Pitching = 2-2-2 inning rule

  • Coach umpires

  • Game Start = 5:30 PM

  • 6 innings (or until dark)

  • Days = TBD; Teams will just play each other

  • Amount of teams = 2 teams (1 Mt. Carmel team & 1 Shamokin/Line Mt. combined team)


Modified Senior

  • Pioneer/Teener Combined; 12-16 years old (this is including next year's 2026 league age 13 year olds)

  • Pioneer Division Rules

  • Pitching = 2-2-2 inning rule

  • Coach umpires

  • Game Start = 5:30 PM

  • 6 innings (or until dark)

  • Days = Monday/Wednesday - Max. 2 games per week; A full schedule will be released once coaches confirm

  • Amount of teams = 3 teams (2 Mt. Carmel/Ralpho combined teams & 1 Shamokin/Line Mt. combined team)
